Wirral Bonsai Society held a show on the first weekend in June at Port Sunlight Garden Centre, set in the historic and picturesque village of Port Sunlight. The event has a good number of visitors as we have a ready made audience, people are in the garden centre because they have some interest in plants or horticulture! We have had this show for the last three years and it gives us an opportunity to exhibit some flowering trees. The number of flowering trees was a little bit down this year but members stepped forward and filled the gaps with other quality exhibits. As usual the display was refined with good use of stands and accent plants.
